Dr. Mac's Church Quiz Corner
Test your Bible and church IQ on one of these quizzes, developed by one of our late parishioners, Dr. Mac McDaniel. Dr. Mac held a PhD and was an English professor at North Central Texas College in Gainesville. He was a long-time member of the choir at St. Paul's, giving us a strong and reliable bass voice. He was responsible for putting up our first church website page. It was basic and primitive and in the early days of the internet, but it gave us a connection to Gainesville and cyberspace. ;)
How well do you know the history and governance of the Anglican Communion? Take this quiz
And how about the Church calendar?
Here is a quiz on the famous men of the Bible
And let's not forget the women
Do you get lost in Bible Land? See if you know where's where in the Bible
And who said what in the Bible

THE STORY BEHIND THIS WEBSITE REVISION:
This website is the product of a Lenten sacrifice. On Ash Wednesday, 1999, the soul (mine) was
moved to revise St. Paul's old website, and to do it in time for Easter. Procrastination
was the first hurdle -- plenty of time, etc. Two weeks before Palm Sunday, the project was
beset by problems getting the FrontPage-created program uploaded to the server. Two weeks
worth of headache-causing roadblocks! Then, on Palm Sunday night, the solution for
uploading was offered by my son, Bo. After being able to upload, all of a sudden the
self-imposed Easter deadline loomed nearby. But the Lord supported all efforts, and
offered so many suggestions for this site that it is obvious to me that it is truly HIS.
The deadline for the almost-finished website was met by 1700 hrs CST on Holy Saturday
(4/03/99). Phew! Thank you, Lord! Please sign the guestbook and leave your tracks in the
sand, too. Thanks! For any questions or suggestions regarding this website,
